Hello,
This blog post reminds me a lot of MySpace Bulletin Boards (I feel so old typing that). I'm very happy that CSN moved away from using the IC3 requirements for this course, after taking my first training video, it's already about 70% better than IC3. IC3 only recognized 1-2 ways of completing a task and Cengage is more realistic.
Glad you find the new curriculum materials better :-) I think you will find the Microsoft Office Specialist certification exams to be more realistic, in the same vein as the Cengage training materials. Welcome to IS101-3026 Marion ^_^
ReplyDeletePleasure to be in class with you Marion!
ReplyDeleteI am happy to have Professor Wu teach me computers. I have learned so much in first week working with him.
ReplyDeleteIt definitely brings back some nostalgia now that you mentioned the Stone Age MySpace days. I've never experienced IC3 but glad to hear we're starting out on a newly improved platform like Cengage!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you how it reminds some of us about Myspace.
ReplyDeleteCengage is very good from doing my first lessons on it I can not wonder what the old program was like.
ReplyDeleteI am excited to learn this new curriculum! This reminds me of MySpace as well. Good times
ReplyDeleteI do like using Cengage. It definitely gives a more of a hands on experience and its very easy to understand.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about taking out IC3, hope Cengage would be better for us.
ReplyDeleteI thought i was the only one who thought this.
ReplyDeleteI never really used twitter or any other social media to really blog, so this is all pretty new to me.
ReplyDeleteI never had the chance to use the IC3 program but, I am very happy with Cengage since it explains the material very thoroughly.
ReplyDeleteI prefer cengage over IC3 too! Much easier
